Studio visit with Fire Arts’ Artists-In-Residence from the Fine Arts Department in Bangkok, Thailand - July 16, 2008

Artists from Bangkok, Thailand came to South Bend's Fire Arts as artists-in-residence.   Fire Arts is a community studio for artists who use fire to create their artwork (primarily sculptors, potters, and jewelers) . The visiting artists are from Bangkok's Samnakchang Sip Moo arts complex, and are employed by the Office of Traditional Art, Fine Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture. They came to visit Jake's studio during their two week stay - we had a great time. (All photos by Bill Healy)
